Dawn chorus, early morning light, the shadow of the scalloped edge of my lace curtain, my boys, crochet, pure wool, my sunflower seeds grown into plants, writing, swimming, sunshine, the fact that my crochet is the right ratio, sitting beside my home, a film with a friend, a call from a daughter, colour everywhere, my new rhododendron plant the colour of peach Melba, biking with bare arms, bare feet , damp grass, forget me nots. Small things, tiny things build a peace and contentment. Plus, I made a great knitting chart.
Would you, or someone you know, like to win a free worksheet to make this pullover? I released the full charts on ravelry yesterday. If you’d like to win the worksheet, and one for your friend too, then like this post, tag your friend in the comments for a chance to win. I’ll draw a winner on Wednesday. Link to worksheet in bio and blog on how it’s made too.
I’m really proud to share something with you. Firstly, I’m hoping to go to Japan for an artist residency but it looks like 2025 now though nothing agreed, and secondly, I charted out ALL the motif bands and colours from my Fairisle pullover, and made 2 huge charts and a worksheet with everything for you to make your own vest, pullover, hat or scarf using all the wonderful traditional Fair isle motifs. I released the worksheet on ravelry yesterday.
